If you ever come to Japan and decide to play pachinko just remember there are two maybe three types of machines you can play. First are the 1 yen machines. Each ball is worth1 yen, so your pay out will be based on the number of balls you have won. Next is 2 yen (becoming more popular), and last 4 yen. 4 yen eats your money but if you win, you win HUGE!!! Most I won was 80,000 yen!! (about 800 dollars)
Next is the data on top on the machine. Here you can see how many times that machine won that day and the previous days. It also shows how many times it spun before hitting a jackpot. There is also a graph thatGÇÖs show the chances of a continued jackpot run! This data is important.
Machines vary when knowing that you have a chance of a hitting a jackpot. These chances are visible by color coded background changes. In order from less to highest chances are: Blue (20%), Green (40%) and Red (70-80%). However; every machine has the 99-100% percent winning color, for example Fist of the North Star are zebra stripes!
There are also machice types example Low, Mid and High! Low means when the balls you collected on the machine are only maybe 4-6 rounds, about 500-600 balls, Obviously High is best with 15-16 rounds sometimes more (works out to 15 dollars a round) Note: these stats are based on 1 yen machines! 4 yen is way more!
Anyway thatGÇÖs all for now! I could write more and give pictures but first I want to see what kind of response I got. I really want write a blog about this because a lot of people donGÇÖt know jack about pachinko!

I think there was a Castlevania themed one. Seemed cool enough as a gambling machine.
I love casinos, but the ones I went to kicked me out for being under aged at the time. Actually, I'm still underaged. I gave to be 21 to play, not 18 :/
