Gladiator there would be 4 tiers; MLT, STD, ADV, PRO
There would be constant games of infinite game length and score, but depending on skill of a player, they will be moved from game to game as per their choice and will be rewarded for choosing to move, so there will be a tier within a tier, but they can only get to that tier by choice and skill (also lets newbs play with newbs and not get stomped). A player can join and leave how they please and will be payed per kill, and per objective point, instead of end game by arbitrary means, although depending on situation, they will be payed differently (no one scored for X amount of time, a player will get extra for scoring. A player doing especially well, a bounty will be put on them. High K/D, get extra per kill). The game modes themselves can be chosen after choosing tier, and the reason its called gladiator, is because arena shooter style games are used with optional handicaps for extra points and mutators and be chosen for X amount of time if enough votes on a full server. Arena style game modes are capture the flag, zombie/team tag, mutant (all against one super powered guy, rotates), defend and destroy (home points have to defended/attacked from/with enemy fire), team deathmatch and deathmatch (all vs all).
Corporate Contract Basically the current public contracts; a serious game mode where there are no rules but "**** the enemy up and don't get ****** up", with realistically designed maps even if they aren't video game styled maps.
Factional Warfare How it is, but with the twist of (once AI drones are in place) allowing players to change sides mid game and slightly more dynamic payouts and standings. If a player kills a few friendlies they get slight positive standings with the enemy and negative with friendly. The players lose they get a slight positive standing with friendly for attempting.
Private contracts PC. Planetary conquest needs more than just 'a few tweaks' to not be filled Nyain San districts locking each other constantly, constant lag with each game, and generally hard as balls to get into as an outsider, but yeah. PC. |

That too, although there needs to be a bit of an overhaul with PC's and factional warfares anyway, one of which would include adding skirmish 1.0 and making the length of time in PC's and FW's a little more relevent with a better output (for FW).
There was a post somewhere suggesting that Factional warfares are Ambush
Skirmish
Domination
I suggest that FW's and PC's are
Skirmish 1.0 with bots (for attackers only)
Domination
Ambush
Skirmish
Domination
Obviously with the option to pop in and out and an intermission between each battle, but would take an hour to do completely. |
