In all seriousness, the Scr does more damage in one OH than the Cr does in a clip. Not to mention the fact the Scr does 3200 damage a clip AND reloads faster than the Cr, AND hits farther, AND can charge for 800 damage 1 shots.
With the SCR being a semi-auto weapon, it never reaches its max fire rate without a modded controller.
The SCR does not do more damage in one overheat than the CR does in a clip, you're wrong there (unless comparing an unproficiencied STD CR to a prof 5 triple damage mod Viziam, and even then it's a close thing).
Damage per clip is meaningless on the SCR given that you can never actually fire off an entire clip in an engagement.
Reload speed is equally meaningless, you want to be looking at the cooldown time.
It does hit further, yeah, although the CR has a better scope.
800 damage charge shots is a massive exaggeration. If you have literally everything going for you with an SCR, you cannot hit 800 damage in one shot. One volley, perhaps, but not one shot. A triple damage modded proficiency 5 Viziam scoring a headshot against shields will not hit 800 damage.
IIRC though, you're a scout. As a result, you're inherently vulnerable to alpha spikes. vOv
