That makes it broken, huh. Month, huh. The abuse is new - people publicly have figured out RE's can be detonated... while your dead. You can now play martyrdom in dust 514. All heavies at any meta level are now fodder at your finger tips.
And seeing as I've died to nothing but RE's - even in PC - yea, I'd call that FOTM. And if it isn't the current FOTM threads like these will make sure it does.
So keep spreading the word about broken weapons. You're doing everyone a real ******* service. When RE's get fixed in 1.8 and you guys can't detonate after your a corpse at my feet I will make sure to give you an extra dip to your face. |

They work equally as well when I'm alive. +1 for a dumb complaint. No, they don't. You won't get near me with that RE without getting killed trying. And by the time you spawn in I'll be long gone. My death would be cut by 2/3 if RE's couldn't detonate after-death. I am hardly EVER killed by a placed RE. My suits all carry fluxes because it compliments the HMG - so RE's never gave me any pause - it was a quick throw and go.
I don't believe for a second anyone uses RE's without throwing them around like a nade at peoples feet. |

Okay - cool. If I spend the extra time to terminate clone they won't detonate on me. That's still broken no matter how you look at it - but it's something. It's not something that'll be useful to me in a PC match where no one is ever by themselves and spending the time to terminate the clone = you dead.
But hey - small victories of hope, eh? |

Well, +1 to you RE users who use it as a placed weapon with intelligence. 90% of the other player base - doesn't. I doubt they've ever placed an RE on the objective before without someone standing on it hacking it already.
Gotta love in PC how people spawn right next to objective...invisible AND invincible... then just toss an RE down on hacker and laugh as they run away. |

So a clone can be revived from bleeding out, but must be considered absolute dead in all other cases? I seem to see remotes nearly every time and survive not walking into the t rap, don't see why others have such an issue. Is it becuase AA doesn't magnetize onto the remotes that yo cannot eliminate them? Please, explain to me then, why your clone doesn't crawl on the ground then if he's conscious? Or pull a simple trigger on a gun? Or throw a nade?

Also - what?????? My entire argument has been about RE's being used like nades.... I've said it over and over - I do not die to placed RE's. If your making an argument based on 'traps' and how it's avoidable - you're quoting the wrong person. I am 100% A-o-kay dying to a placed RE. But I am not okay with your unconscious body lying between my feet - and you still get to pull a trigger.
But I'm very glad RE's users think it's fair and logical for unconscious clones to still kill you by activating equipment. So why can't I summon an OB, again? It's just a couple of taps on my sleeve from what I can tell, don't even need to reach far.

Quit moaning. ... did you just say, "ONLY" to a very instant period of time that occurs after death that assures you the fastest time possible to detonate the RE you just sacrificed yourself to throw?
And you make a great point - if I do anything for a second longer after I just killed a clone - say... like... try to aim for a downed clones body to finish it... You'll probably die for it, as the killer info comes up very quickly. |

I don't know why you can not crawl around, why is the SCR the only weapon that can charge its 1st round, why does a shotguuns slate say 44 dmg, why does a lot of **** happen? dunno end of the day when a player jumps towards me with no gun out I KNOW he is launching RE's and back the **** up. It's all about understanding situations and players intentions. Run a suicide RE suit, you'll fast learn what counters it. And fyi - I know someone has to, just not me. I'll playe PC in the summer 2018 when CCP make PC worthwhile. Let me answer your questions since you say you don't know.
You can't crawl around because you've been render unconscious - the needle behaves as both a stim pack and a nano repair tool.
ScR is not the only single shot charged weapon - Forge.
Shotgun says 44 because that's the damage per pellet. I forgot how many pellets are fired per shot - but once you know the math is easy from there.
And if you can back up fast enough as a heavy you'll need to give me your fit - because my 3 complex kats suit is consistently failing.
And there is no counter to RE martyrdom - other then not be a heavy. If you know of how to stop someone placing RE's between your feet then detonating a second later, let me know. And, yes, I do kill them.
And CCP will never fix this damn game lol |
