Had this happen to me a couple of times now: Driving a Soma tank with a blaster turret, only to have my vehicle refuse to fire. For example, earlier today I was in a match and, while doing some off-roading in my Soma, I came across a pair of reds huddled together around a nanohive. One was obviously a sniper. With the battle well beyond doubt (thanks, lack of balanced FW matches!) I decided to have some fun and parked my tank right behind them and then...nothing. Squeeze the trigger and nothing's happening; both players seem completely oblivious to me, so it must be lag--right? Well, one of the reds eventually notices me and takes off, leaving his sniper brother behind. Finally my blaster turret comes to life and I make quick work of the sniper, who never even moves.
I then return to the supply depot as the other team is sheltering in the red line and try to fire at a wall, because why not? Again, nothing. The turret isn't overheated and I still have over 100 bullets left before I need to reload. One of my scanners finally powers down, so I fire up the other one and look at that--I can suddenly fire again.
Has anyone else had something similar to them, particularly with a blaster turret and an activated module?
Life is killing me.

Don't know. My RR has "jammed" on me before, so to speak. It happens rarely for me though I think its cool that it does that sometimes.

I guess the jamming of the RR isn't just to RRs.I have it happen, and others as well, when I'm hacking an objective, someone starts shooting at me,and I stop hacking to shoot back at them. |

All the turrets do that. Its a bug, because no other explanation can be applied to it. I find it happens more often when you let off the trigger then resume firing again. The second time you just fire blanks; your ammo count doesn't go down, but the animation and sound of your turret firing still occurs...
Its gotten me popped unjustifiably a few times, but since tanks are OP as it is, I don't worry to much about it. Just get annoyed with it sometimes.

I once tried to pin it down; it seemed like it happened most if you pressed and held the trigger while in the module activation screen until exiting the menu.
It's far less commonplace now, thanks to having far fewer active modules to trigger it.
