I'd rather have 32 v 32, player drones, better performance, vegitation, water, etc. than your ability to buy a hot-pink and brown polka-dotted dropsuit. Not to mention custom colors will look like garbage, and ruin immersion. I could see adding corp logos or something similar, as well as special-edition suits like the Templar, but we have MUCH bigger fish to fry first.

Thats great and all but Dust is a F2P game that is only profitable when people buy AUR. Suggesting a good way of making CCP money without stepping into pay2win territory will only earn CCP more money so they can work on everything you asked for quicker.
I don't think you get it, custom suits take up memory, a lot of it. So no, we wouldn't be able to have those other things because we don't have the memory for them if we had custom color schemes. There are plenty of other ways to have micro transactions that wouldn't cripple gameplay (e.g. a Minmatar slave girl for my quarters). Also boosters will always be the main source of income for DUST.
