This is of course without knowing what the unspecified suits and weapons will be.
I'm thinking, with or without a respec to get rid of my Min Logi and Assault Rifle, I will *probably* be switching to Amarr Sentinel and obviously HMG.
The reason is this will be the toughest suit, especially when it comes to close range. Who knows they may also come out with a new heavy weapon.

I don't see it in the floated threads or on the first page. So, I'm pretty sure making a new one is acceptable.
Yeah I've been wanting to do the Gallente Scout Sniper for a while. Odds are it's going to be summer until I can even think about doing it though.
And to be blunt, knives are fun, but are tactically useless. If the kill-feed didn't announce OMG NOVA KNIVES to everyone, the stealth might have been a tactical advantage, but it's not.

Amarr scout with a cplx green pill will be able to run for over 1min, and probably cover something like 700m in one burst. Also all the bunny hopping and juking they'll be able to do is *severely* underestimated. |

You were susceptible to the learning process just as we all were. Everyone wastes their SP in the first two months of playing Dust, unless they get lucky.
I thought I had to skill into the Minmatar Starter Fit when I was a n00b, and I liked being a Medic, so that is to this day why I am still a Minmatar Logi with an Assault Rifle.

Nothing.
They stated that while there are no medium slot changes, that doesn't mean they won't change them in the future. Look at the current slot settings of the medium suits. Look at the new heavy/scout suits. Even slots across the board, stats emphasize a certain kind of tanking, etc. On the medium? That Armor-tanking Amarr have a MLT suit with 2 Highs and 0 lows.
The medium suits will get changed. If not in 1.8, then soon after. I'd wait for the other shoe to drop so I'll know what the score is on all the suits.
Dren and Templar equipment stats, wrong since release.

I'm torn. I can only get two suits to Proto, and I can't decide whether I want Amarr Scout of Amarr Assault. Their Play styles are so different that it is hard to choose. On one hand I really want to give scouts a try, and on the other I really want to make use of the Assault suit for my Laser Rifle...
