I mainly want to hear from other logi players on this post but others input so long as it is mutually respectful is welcome.
This is what being a logi is like unless you are with a friendly group. 1. Spawn Mini logi with rep tool, injector, uplink, 200 or so armor and about 100 shields. 2. Run for objective to drop an uplink without team and have them get pissed at me but potenitally hack and keep the objective long enough for people to spawn in and help, or stick around with the heavies and hope that I can get the uplink in a decent spot also hope that the enemy hasn't hunkered down at the objective to well yet. 3. Drop uplink in a location I hope isn't going to be watched and make a break for a supply depot to swap suit to a mini logi with rep tool, injector, nano hive, 550 armor and about 100 shields then run back to my team during all of step 3 praying I'm not going to get singled out because I'm bright yellow. 4. Once I have regrouped with everyone if they did not cover me while I made a run for the supply depot, rep tool the heavy while he lays covering fire and draws the attention and inevitably they will see me beside him sooner or later because 10m distance on rep tool and I need line of sight, after about 30 seconds my triage points are capped out and I am now standing in the open, wearing bright yellow, completely defenseless because I have a rep tool in my hands and gaining nothing but the occasional bullet if I'm lucky or if it goes the way it usually does having the whole enemy team trying to kill me. 5. At this point I need to drop both k2 nano hives one for the heavy and 1 where ever the rest of the squad is but without leaving the heavy and again praying I'm not going to get killed because again my weapon is not out. Heavy agrees to take cover for a minute while I have to locate the rest of my team that may or may not be pushing at the enemy from behind then get back to the heavy without dying, this is the only point so far I have been able to defend myself using my exile assault rifle which is completely useless against most combat rifle and rail rifle enemies. This is usually where I loose my first 80k ISK. Once i get to the other squad members I give them reps if need be potentially still not getting points for it because of the triage point cap, drop them their ammo and run back to the heavy. 6. No its time to push forward with the heavy. We move into a position to advance into the line of fire while I pray that the other team doesn't notice that I am bright yellow. Usually I will cap out on triage points within 30 seconds again and probably die 2-3 times so another 160k-240k ISK lost there. This can go on for a very long time usually resulting in the rest of the squad having to give up on the original flank tactic and regrouping to try push and I may or may not loose a further 1-2 suits. 7. Once we get the null cannon I now run around like a headless chicken catering to my squads every need and if my team needs it trying to doge stray bullets and hostile grenades and the occasional remote explosive suicider. 8. If all goes well we have won by this point I may have between 2000-4000 warpoints and maybe if I'm lucky earning enough ISK to pay for the suits I lost, most likely with a negative KD (I really don't care about KD I just think it may help get across that I'm not a slayer) because I'm such an obvious target.
Throughout the game there is lots of yelling out for support and to do my job better etc
No I'm not trying to start a riot and usually I only get abused by my team for being a bad logi when I'm not with my brother or the Sentinels of New Eden. Luckily they are usually very nice and understanding of the stresses of a logi and the CEO is also a support logi so there's usually 2 logis in a squad, playing with them is nice.
So in the update of 1.8 if they do nerf the logi suit I will have a look and see if it is still bearable to play if not then I might do proto mini assualt and get about a 40% damage increase with 5 proto damage mods. |

Yes I agree I just didn't want to get to into my writing otherwise I wouldn't have to play. |

Beck Weathers wrote:Sounds about right, i made a topic a few days ago called "tired of being a logibro" that was pretty much about how i was tired off working my butt off but being blamed for never having enough scans, uplinks, nano hives, and reps.
Actualy got told NOT to spam uplinks and just stick to the heavys despite me saying we had one uplink left on the dom objective. Iwanted to yell "do you even play dom?! Get uplinks down or get red lined" I just read your post actually so yeah I decided to write my own kind of one because I wanted to point out the triage cap point cap out subtly
