Maybe I am still a noob, maybe its cause I am not in a heavy with a rail rifle like 90% of the people I have been coming up against in PUB matches. I watch the cool youtube videos of cyrius li moody and totally want to be a scouty lone wolf. I have put 90% of my 5.8 mil SP into scout suits, dropsuit upgrades, shotguns and pistols. And canGÇÖt do jack, I was following a heavy for 20 feet depressed about how I knew once I started firing I was going to be dead. Fired first round, took his shields out, he turns around faster than I can, fired second, half his armor is gone, I start strafing and jumping, before I get to fire the third, his (insert whatever weapon you want here, but usually a RR) kills me.
I have basic shields and reactive plates, 99 shields and 168 armor. Lately its been poor detection and rubber-banding that have been helping speed me on to the clone tank. Other times, like 50% of the matches I played last night, (I guess everyone is trying to cap out really fast?) It was proto stomp after proto stomp, one murder taxi squad was flipping using a proto scanner.
