So, in 1.6 hit detection was fixed. TTK turned awfully fast, and the whine machines slowly went into full motion, peaking in 1.7.
People blamed it on improved hit detection, but something was ignored. In 1.6, CCP also added a mechanic where if you're hit, you get slowed down.
Could this be the reason TTK feels so short? You are slow = Can't strafe as fast You are slow = Can't get in cover in time You are slow = Easy headshots for enemy You are slow = [Get hit with more bullets in general]
Either way, I would like this mechanic to go away. Especially since it gives high fire rate weapons like the Assault Combat Rifle an unfair advantage, as the more bullets you get hit with = more slowing down. Which is why getting in cover while an HMG is shooting you can prove difficult.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

At the minimum you need 10 bullets to kill a medium frame with absolutely zero skills or HP modules on.

And yet it wasn't a problem before 1.6, nobody complained. Because it took more than 5 And the damage for our weapons is too high Uhh... First of all, the minimum is 10 for a medium frame, more if they have any HP modules or skills. Secondly, damage wasn't increased, hence before 1.6 and past 1.6 there shouldn't have been a change if that's the reason.

Considering even scouts have more base HP than that, I'm inclined to believe you're exaggerating. To test a asmg Mlt ar Caldari academy noob 5 bullets Minimum bullets to kill a scout without headshots is 7.

Everyone shouting for higher TTK/no AA/no spin cap/tons faster strafing/no weapon knockback are arguing for a very non-tactical shooter situation. You already have the advantage. You did a lot of damage.

And HEAVIES? With double damge mods, a GEK and PROF, killing one takes half my clip.

You see - my problem in PC lately has been that during random times - my speed suit with 3 kats is crawling slower then my fully armored suit. It's been my opinion since 1.6 CCP ****** up something regarding speed on a heavy suit - so if you're basing this off just that suit - you may want to test it out on a stacked suit of a different variety. I certainly haven't noticed people being 'slowed' by my bullets - but then again, nothing lives long enough for me to see it. It definitely happens. The quicksand bug is a different phenomenon, and I believe it's linked to throwing equipment/firing a weapon and then instantly sprinting. Affects all suits I use, not just kin cat suits.
