Refer to Warframe. That's basically how I would like to have it in Dust 514. More customizable stuff is always welcome though.

Only problem for CCP would probably be that they have to make the different suits /Standard / Advanced / Proto) distinguishable through the frame itself. So not just different colors anymore for the different tiers.

But really. We're mercs, yet we run around like we're part of an army. Using uniform colors and so on.
