 Can we please have either:
 a. A consistent dropship exit point for the pilot (i.e. midpoint left side, etc) or
 b. A smart dropship exit point that will place you on the nearest solid surface at the same altitude as the dropship

I'm sick of taking my dropship to some hard to reach place, setting it down carefully, then exiting the dropship into thin air and falling. It's a small issue that can be a huge setback when starting a match and usually wastes the dropship. It incites such rage in me- I wouldn't mind if it was a consistent place and I just messed up, but I never seem to exit the dropship at the same point twice in a row.

I find that pretty annoying too.

or even a system where you exit a side of your vehicle you point one of the sticks to, at the same point of the vehicle you are sitting in.

any of these would be acceptable solutions.

100% agree. Same thing happens to me.
I'd go for option "b" FTW

Of course, me too, but I figure option A is quicker and easier to implement. I'll take either one.

I like option 1. Predictable exit points seem better than "smart" deploying out of a dropship.

Or if they actual had an enter/exit animation that you were semi in control over. Kind of silly how you "teleport" inside and out of the dropship.

On the one hand, I like the fact that bailing out of a crashing dropship is a 50/50 chance of survival. But on the other, I think vehicle exit/enter animations would make vehicle immersion a lot better!
