its a turret gun thats bigger than light weapons and its mounted on a vehicle and its probably the worst weapon in the game, if you gave heavys the ability to rip them off a vehicle and carry em around halo style they would still suck very bad, why? why are they so awful, even if you boosted them up to be as strong as a large blaster turret taking people out in a shot or two it still wouldnt be any more obnoxious than tanks or heavys riding around jumping out killing you then running away (im not saying they should be that strong) but a 50 cal in real life mounted on a humvee rips people up and we get this future gun with horrible range, horrible damage and no protection for the gunner. its easy enough to shoot someone off a turret and lav's arent that much of a threat anyway, what, average ones go down in like 3 packed av nades or two railgun shots they arent that bad, why cant the blaster turret be better? is there a reason for it that i dont understand? does anybody else feel that way or am i alone on that one?

They kinda suck on anything else though. That's a bug though, they aren't supposed to stack that way. And even with all the damage in the world, when you're right on target and your shots just vanish through them, it becomes a game of chance and little more. Have they confirmed this as a bug? I've invested points in ADS purely to be a good gunner. If anything they need a unique tree that affects gunners only.
as an ADS pilot i think having gunners on an ADS is a waste. a good pilot with a missle turret alone is a great slayer not much else is needed. and the high price of the ADS and all its modules i'd rather not put side turrets on it and sacrifice survivability, nor have goobers on my turrets not capping objectives, i love missle turrets they are beast, railgun turrets are second best but do suffer from minor hit detection issues and i personally dont like the crosshair for it. blasters are poopy juice even with every skill stacked in the game. my signature is old and im not trying to hype myself up to be super awesome but i regularly go 20/30+ kills and 0 deaths per game and even if we still win i sometimes feel a little bad that i wasnt on the ground giving people equipment support or not capping objectives. i cant remember the point of this post as im a little drunk, im not trying to attack anyone or make anybody feel bad. but blasters are poopy juice
