I am unofficially officially calling myself this. I run armor or damps, standard repair tool, GEK-38 AR [the best rifle besides CR], basic smg, basic shield on a basic Gallente Scout. Two enhanced damps guarantee an invisible medic. I also run militia nanite injector on my revive scout.
I like this a lot cause I can help other mercs. I would pay isk to see the look on mercs faces when they're scout pulls out a repair tool. I was repairing a protostacked heavy with a proto FG in spambush, and he killed 5 tanks! I goy biotics maxed out and since

I rep Logis reping heavies. Its really fun. I don't have SP for my Caladari Logi yet so this suit is fun to run.
I got 680 war points with 3 kills 1 assist and the rest triage.
Anyone else do this? Or anything else interesting?

I do that with only with uplinks for the most part, speedy light suit with a rep tool gets you killed a little too often in my experience. Better to chubby chase in my nice tanked Amarr logi.

Minmatar Logi is the best Logi Scout.
I believe Annie and Calamity used to use it, before they quit.

Stealth logi with biotics is pretty fun. You're basically a less effective/more expensive scout, but that equipment is delicious. I play it more regularly now just for a break in the monotony of pew-pew; I'll probably spec into Amarr scout once it comes out because of trying this out (if/when there's a respec).

I use MLT Scouts as Tactical Scouts. 1 for dropping Uplinks, 1 for Nanos, 1 just to run the perimeter and Scan for my squad.
After 1.8 I'll be in a gK.0 Scout doing the same, but with those 2 Slots they'll be some equipment spamming little bitches.

I have tried a triage scout but my problem was I didn't have the HP to stay long enough. I have a Gal logi with two tools, a short range and a long range but if I am going to do logi stuff I stick with my advanced Amarr logi. Makes ISK, fun to play and lets me stay alive long enough to do what I want. The only scout suit I use now is for dropping uplinks.

For the longest time I rarely used any actual logi suits, I used my dragonfly BPOs from the old merc packs since they were free. I made like 10 fits with different equipment for different situations and changed suits all the time. Eventually I saved up a ton of ISK and SP and branched out. It's actually a very smart move except you (I assume) don't have the same access to BPOs I did, which is too bad. You can do similar things with starter fits but they are less flexible.

No I don't have access to BPOs. I'm not spending any money on a free game. Except maybe on those Fused Locus nades I love sooooo much.
Then again i'll just build up SP to get thunker/core.

Try using an injector instead of a rep tool. I haven't done the scout frame logi thing in a long time, but I used to find that often people would die and then remain bleeding out while the battle moved on. With the scout suit you can sneak around and reach them often in time to revive them. I think it's better suited to that frame since it doesn't put you right in the line of fire and creates forces to flank the enemy or hack unguarded objectives. |

scout gk.0 with a Core Focused Rep Tool or a Six Kin Triage Rep Tool.
Proto Light and Sidearm.
be warned, the fit can cost as much as 200k isk, so don't use it if you're having money problems XD

I've got a scout with std injector for ambush.
I've often thought a scout squad with hives, needles as well as uplinks and REs would work well - the needle scout would be the one to hold back in the shadows while the rest engage, then would run out and revive a failed/suicide attack squad for more surprises attacks.
1.8 will make this less of a weird pipe dream.
You probably don't know me. But next time you get gunned down or exploded by a Valor scout...check the name.
