As the title states I would like the officer sniper rifle banned from pub matches, this would not include Factional matches or PC battles, The reasons I would like this gun banned for the time being will now be listed.

1. Can be used in areas where no one can kill them, such as behind the red line on top of a mountain without using the same weapon or the proto version, which is a heavy inbalance. (Same arguement about rail tanks, but that's for another person to argue. (To counter the sniper in the red zone, the sniper in question must expose himself to the middle of the map typically which also means a possible death, where as the red line sniper with the officer weapon does not have this disadvantage)

2. This weapon can 1 hit kill many of the suits in the game and again their is no recourse unless you are using the proto or officer weapon in return.

3. Scanning can not adequetly locate the sniper (max scanning range goes up to roughly 100m officer sniper rifles easily out range this), especially if the sniper is behind the red line, which makes locating a sniper beyond reasonably difficult.

4. Charged Sniper Rifles have a high and low to the damage they deliver, the officer version does not it is pure damage at the high end. It will 1 shot kill most the suits in the game including many of the advanced level suits, which is beyond what a new player should be expected to have.

5. People just starting the game are not going to understand why they are just dead in 1 shot constantly.

6. No other officer weapon can kill with such impunity as the officer sniper rifle can. Even the officer forge or plasma cannon you have to least be in the match area on most maps in order to be effective, the officer sniper rifle does not have this limitation. (Also try hitting an infintry man with a forge gun from 300m-400m away if you can do it consistently awesome for you I bow to your godly shots)

I understand that officer weapons are very hard to get, but this gun is in short over powered and game breaking, no other officer weapon can do what it does as effectively, I am not asking that sniper rifles be removed from the game or from any game mode, what my request is that 1 gun be banned from the mode that the most new players enter. An arguement could be made that no officer weapons should be allowed within pub matches, that at the earliest they should be allowed in factional warfare, but I am not asking for that, just that the worst offender be removed or at least restricted in some format. I hope this request is considered and not flammed by every sniper who abuses this weapon in pub matches.
