Sometimes I need AV grenades and carry Locus grenades, and vice-versa.
I'd like to see a Dropsuit with two grenade slots (AV/Locus or AV/AV or Loc/Loc) at the cost of a sidearm or equipment slot(s)
Bad idea?

Easy, assault suits should lose their sidearm/grenade and equipment slot.
Instead they get to put whatever they want in those slots if they got the pgrid/cpu

I guess if they were designed so that you could only put one type of grenade in each slot, and if ccp would add more than 3 grenades into the game, it would be pretty cool.

i hhave thought this before and yes have them where you cant stack 1 type of gernade only diferent types and not variants like they do for Eqp

Bring the right tool for the job. Stop trying to be good at everything at once. The Commando has to sacrifice a ton of HP and fitting slots for its two light weapons, and if a grenadier suit is on the way (which seems unlikely, as we already know the names of all the variants both existing and on the way), then it should have to sacrifice just as much.

I'd much rather see grenades be bought individually instead of in groups of 3.
Assault / Heavy / Scout = 3 Grenade Slots
Logi = Two Grenade Slots
So you can buy one Flux, one AV Nade, one Locus, and fill all 3 of the slots using them. Of course, the fitting requirements of the grenades would have to be cut.
So you can have a Scout with one Locus, two Flux, a Heavy with two Flux, one AV Nade .etc

I think the idea of a Grenadier suit is a cool idea in general, and it's been mentioned before. I just don't think it would really be very viable until CCP introduced more grenades types. Thinking an extra grenade slot, maybe even up to 3 at proto, but then only a sidearm.

I'd like grenadier specialisation. I just don't think there's the demand for it.
I'd much rather see basic frames become customisable. The cost of losing a specialisation bonus vs, say, a medium frame being able to lose its sidearm and/or equipment slot in favour of an extra grenade slot.
It would make basic frames worth skilling into, and provide an alternative to the race-specific options presented by specialisations.
