That's the only reason to use it, for a challenge. Like doing SL 1 run-through of Dark Souls, getting the Big Boss award in MGS4, or using Dan prior to Street Fighter 4. With just Shield/Armor upgrade bonuses, the Amarr Assault has 162.5 hp on the Amarr scout, so more than a single complex plate. The hp difference means the Amarr Assault could fit just 2 ferroscale plates and an enhanced repper come out ahead (615 hp vs. 584.5) hp, and still be faster too. They could also fit a third damage mod or a complex shield extender. This is aside from the superiority in using the Scrambler. With the nerf to damage mods, it may be that fitting 2-3 (or using them at all) might become a bad idea though. I really hope they read the feedback and make the Amarr Scout an actual scout instead of a third assault suit to go along with the Assault Logi and Assault Assault. Dren and Templar equipment stats, wrong since release.

(Actually on a side note I am very out of RP, its my understanding the Caldari have a very deep special bond with the Amarr, especially the Khanid. Sharing technology like brothers in arms...) Sharing technology? Maybe lube technology, i could see that, but really don't want to. I support SP rollover.

That Amarr Scout is going to be feared on the battlefield as a hybrid scout/assault, and still functional as a scout. it's really a slayer's suit. It might need a few tweaks, but i'd want to spend some time with it first. Personally, when i think of some of the stronger players in that suit i can feel the hurt coming. I support SP rollover.
