I'm waiting to see if they make an actual "scout". What they've offered is an abomination.

Two complex plates would make it slower than a stock Amarr Medium/Assault frame I believe. If you wanted to make a scout tank, the Gallente would get the equivalent of that repairer for free, a range mod, a complex dampener, and start with higher speed.

I'm well aware of the fact the Amarr scout is a light assault, I'm still planning on using it. I'm an Amarr purist, I'd use it even if it was the most gimped suit in the game.
That's the only reason to use it, for a challenge. Like doing SL 1 run-through of Dark Souls, getting the Big Boss award in MGS4, or using Dan prior to Street Fighter 4.

With just Shield/Armor upgrade bonuses, the Amarr Assault has 162.5 hp on the Amarr scout, so more than a single complex plate. The hp difference means the Amarr Assault could fit just 2 ferroscale plates and an enhanced repper come out ahead (615 hp vs. 584.5) hp, and still be faster too. They could also fit a third damage mod or a complex shield extender.

This is aside from the superiority in using the Scrambler. With the nerf to damage mods, it may be that fitting 2-3 (or using them at all) might become a bad idea though.

I really hope they read the feedback and make the Amarr Scout an actual scout instead of a third assault suit to go along with the Assault Logi and Assault Assault.
