quick question..
will there ever be racial hmgs? because im scared about investing my SP that apperently im never going to get back in a minmatar hmg if they are going to release a caldari or gallante hmg in the future and would we get are skill points back when that happens?

Probably, you better just not skill into in HMG until they come out though. Better be safe than have fun! |

The HMG is the Minmitar heavy weapon and I do t think there will be another HMG. Other races have other type of heavy weapons |

I actually thing every race will have his own heavy (Caldari-Forge, Minmatar-MG for now). Its should be same like with AA (Caldari-Swarms, Galente-Plasma Cannon) or pistols (Caldari-Bolt, Minmatar-Flaylock, Galente-Ion, Amarr-Scramble).

Right, good point. I for one would REALLY want to see a HRG (Heavy Rail Gun)! Deadly accurate, epic RoF, ridiculous range...oh wait, that's just get a normal RR why not put it on a Heavy frame! |

Its easy, every race having their own tek.
Whats mean Minmatar are about autocannons ergo they will have similar technology in battlefield.
Caldari are all about Gauss tek and rockets they have everything from Forge to Sniper based on magnetic Rails, exept swarms.
(Where you cant use gauss tek, because unstable explosive cant take magnetic stage speeding)
Amarr are L'ZOR boyos and guess what everything they have on lazer beam tek.
Galente are in plasma and they Plasma tek, ehm wait i really dont know how they rifles working for sure.

Epic rate, i dont thing so "Gaussie" is quite slow actually if you compare it wit galente AR.
BTW HRG is basicaly FORGE.
