Why be able to shoot in or out of redlines?
Can't be conjure some reason you cant' and call it good?
Did we have to conjure one about why you automatically suicide if you're in a redline not your own?
As an addendum I am a proponent of curtailing redline rails by reworking redlines after this suggestion is implemented so that the crest of mountains and other portions of the map that give an advantage are reworked so that the redline begins either behind or infront of the mountain and that there be no obvious advantages to one redline or another's "lines" for people to abuse.
That probably wasn't clear.
And it wasn't exactly novel.

It was like 5 times in a row lmao, and granted much of that was my fault for simply deploying in the first place (I have ISK to burn, flying is the only thing I find fun in DUST, so generally if I'm not in the sky, I'm not in DUST) I'm uploading that match now for haha's, it just highlighted the fact that on many maps your safe deployment zone is basically denied to you thanks to a pathetic excuse for a mechanic that limits the game all the way from balance to map design.
I've suggested this before but I'm a proponent of the idea that vehicles should be immune to damage until they hit the ground, the RDV should remain destroyable. This idea came to me after another incident of my vehicle was deployed successfully only to explode upon hitting the ground...for no apparent reason. This would solve both issues ideally.

Only on bridge maps are redline snipers useful...but reline rails are used EVERY competitive PC match.

The redline IMO should be drawn to allow people who have been pushed back to it to have a serious advantage there so that they can push back. I'd prefer maps incentivized players NOT to redline because once youre at the redline THEY have the map advantages.
there's infinitely diverse (hehe) ideas that could be implemented as how as how we strengthen PUB redlines to support teams who have been redlined, but gist is that you want redlines to massively favor the team who has been redlined so that they can regroup, get vehicles safely on the ground, and begin to push.
