They are just links to everybody's load outs. When an EVE pilots kills one of us little walking cargo containers by OB, they get a kill mail that will show them what was inside the cargo container (our load out). The kill mail looks like this:

In a nutshell, the kills are logged on zKillboard if the pilot has registered their API key for automatic updates or have manually entered the kill mail.
