Been using a heavy for the event, and I'm not bad...not good but not bad either...
But the 2nd I have a few beers and start to get dipsy, well it all goes down hill.
But when I'm in a scout suit and drunk I can still slurr my way to a decent score.
Is that just me? Or has anyone else noticed this?

At some point you get so good at something, that while being drunk you're still better than most.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

This. It's a matter of muscle memory for me, especially in terms of aiming vs my strafe speed- it's changing my strafe speed that really screws me up when drunk. |

I'm freakin' great in any role when i'm drunk. I kick ass and my Kd/r instantly shoots up to 7. At least I think it does. The next day it seems to be right back down to .65 and nobody ever recalls me even being in the match.

Finally decided to return to Dust after a break, at the time for reasons unknown to me, I felt doing the event drunk was a good idea, ended up on a long range map, and died each time I tried to change position, I eventually started to think I'm too drunk to drive a LAV and stood at the objective closes to the enemy MCC, killed 13 reds solo, I had no idea I was a great heavy when I'm drunk!

4-6 beers or my second glass of scotch, and then I'm a useless blueberry scrub going negative. It's quite the narrow tightrope of drunkenness to walk.

You should try dropshipping when drunk. I really do fly better when drunk. I recommend learning the dropship while drinking. I'm not being sarcastic either.

Yeah, same for me. Once I get past a 6 pack I start to dip way down the score board.
A couple of guys I know can murder like crazy while drunk. One guy named LT Dan's Legs puts down 18 packs and 40s of mickeys like it's nobody's business, and somehow goes 30/2 like every match! But once he gets into that devils herb...he gets sleepy xD
And another guy, DS(The Drunk heavy) is always dropping J+ñger. Still messes shizz up with his FG.

It's the only way I can ram enemy(and friendly) dropships(unintentionally)

Only seem to have an issue with my no skill Dren heavy suit with Republic HMG(Also no skills) when i go up against a proto Heavy that has been a real heavy for a while...
Otherwise everything dies I point the giant circle at in under a second.....
And seriously who has been able to tolerate DUST for more then 45 minutes Sober? Because they need a commendation. |

Still can't understand how people play and smoke. I have never been able to even function with it...let alone do well in a game.

It's really hit or miss for me. I've had both my best and worst games while catatonically stoned. Sometimes my gun game goes to **** and I make terrible tactical decisions. Other times everything just clicks and I kite 5 scrubs around boxes and slay them all one by one, or drop proto logis from the front with nothing more than a BPO AR to the head and a bit of strafing. |

i dont know about drunk but when i get stoned as hell and get behind the wheel of my maddie run.....

i was laughing my ass off rolling around the map not paying a single bit to what i was doing
i was upside down for half the match, got stuck humping a rail, couldn't figure out how to get around a light pole, spend a few minutes chasing a red commando around crate, and managed to jump off a ridge crushing 3 reds under my tank
yet despite all that **** i look at the end of match board and there i was

I tired to drive my 3.2million ISK vayu drunk once....was a mess. In the end I let my friend drive it, I gave him the driver seath and he bursts out laughing, I'm half way to the redzone of our redzone with all modules activated..
I stick my weiner in two buns and and then give it the gas
