But what I miss most were the long firefights. My first impressions from playing Dust after playing CoD for several years was that first your turn speed was actually limited and played a factor (unlike spinning around a hundred times per second in CoD) and second it took several seconds to down someone as opposed to a tenth of a second.

Nice point we've come full circle. There was something special about chasing a BPO Militia HAVs in a Dropship. Very cinematic.
One time I failed to Monty Python a guy so I had to slowly grind him 20 or more meters along the ground until the kill notification popped up. Got some mega bad Karma for that one.

i remember those good days. before nyan san and RA were stomping pups. FW was fun and there was rare redline matches. now its constent and will never get fixed. but we will never see those days ever again...... i miss it.....
