I like the idea of Minmatar being the speedy heavy but this won't mean anything if it's all it has.
1. The base HP gap of this dropsuit vs Caldari or Gallente is of 90 HP, but for Caldari or Gallente vs Amarr the gap is of 45 HP. 2. A larger portion of HP is dedicated towards armor even though its racial skill of 3% resist is for shields only. 3. This is the dropsuit that is most susceptible to enemy HMG (Caldari shields good, Gallente damage resist ok, Amarr damage resist great, Minmatar...) 4. Shield depleted recharge is 6 seconds on a Minmatar Heavy.
To alleviate most of the issues I would like to see these changes implemented:
1. Minmatar Heavy will have 480 Shields and 390 Armor 2. Reload Speed bonus of 1.10 for Heavy Weapons (hidden bonus) 3. Hacking Speed bonus of 1.05 (hidden bonus) 4. Shield depleted recharge of 5 seconds 5. Shield Recharge rate 23 HP (maybe)

Have you tried speed tanking a heavy with a light weapon.....
I run faster than a fully tanked out logi or assault and have more hp by default... I can add shield extenders for a bit more HP but honestly I go for either dmods or energizers depending on who I'm playing and how good of a shot they are It also is very helpful for keeping up with the groups of logis The only light weapons worth putting on a heavy are RR or SR, not much you can do with that.

I use a combat rifle/scrambler pistol/laser rifle
I'm sick of trying to be op.....I'm just in it to be a niche character......you don't see many heavies running dual carthum pistols.....or heavies with laser rifles.....yeah my kdr isn't great and yeah I'm probably not the best player but screw it man.....
Id rather someone look at what I'm using and "go who uses that" than them having to come on here and cry about my obviously "op" setup

1.You're right the gap between Amarr and caldari gallente should be 90hp. Buff Amarr suit.
2. So...?
3. You're joking right ? HMG and Minmatarr projectile are ****** up having a 5% malus while lal other have 10% malus. You're having native extra buff stop complain.....
4. It is a problm ? that's quite short.
STOP asking extra buff for Minmatarr suits. Thanks, You're going to have an assault extre renforced, speedy tank. Stop asking to be a fast regen high tank fast speed that's not even decent... Oh wait i got idea : I want 40000 ehp on my Amarr suit. Why ? Because. |

Speed is a tremendous advantage for a heavy.
If you can chase some people with a HMG, get behind cover, keep up with your group, you're gonna be devastating.
The current Amarr heavy is more like a stationary fighter, better designed to defend a position. The Minmatar will be a mobile sentinel, better for assault than any other heavy, i guess. |

The idea of a heavy I can't run away from is just a little frightening...
(whereas the idea of a heavy I can't keep up with when repping is more than a little annoying... come back here you!)

Do you even take time to analyze dropsuits and they would perform in every scenario? Even with the speed all the other heavies will be taking far more hits from each other thanks to resists or ideal HP sizes for certain damage. With the current stats all it's good for is chasing down Assaults/Logis but even then the Heavy would feel squishy and easy to hit (4.05 MS is still somewhat meaningless).
Almost every comment I have seen from you so far is poison for any thread:

Minmatar has a focus on Armor with no resist vs projectile. Someone please translate the comment as I'm still not sure if I read it right.
If the Minmatar Heavy stays as is it's going to be classified on 1.8 as a "Free Kill", especially for me as when I use Amarr/Caldari Heavy.

It's not even a speedy heavy, 5.1% faster than galente and Cal Heavy's... 10.9% faster than Amar...
The reduction in other stats does not even compare to the speed they gain. The speed they gain does not help in speed tanking, between aim assist and the pure hitbox size... 405 base speed is garbage.
Oh, and once again - Galente low slots prove capable of creating faster speed suits/more topend stam than the Minmatar equivalent.
