All the players with proto rep tools, proto hives and a standard weapon. Running a blaster tank in ambush is like bringing Anthrax to a pillow fight.

But with a squad it is a good area denial weapon which is why I picked it up to allow my team to advance forward. No one wants to stand there wanting to get exploded.

Agreed, he didn't articulate it the best, though you need to stop thinking that 1.8 will be the end of you being able to do anything but scan. If you're worried about being the best [INSERT_EQUIPMENT_TYPE_HERE] User, then skill into the suit bonused for it and stop crying. If you want to remain loyal to your race, do so and SIUB, you'll get through. There will still be efficacy for suits using non-bonused equipment, just not as much as there will be for using the bonused equipment. With no respec then I am at a severe disadvantage to get into the suits that I would want to continue to focus in. Spreading out SP over potentially 4 suits as the needs of the situation constantly change. Or do you just focus on one thing to the exclusion of the others? As of now I have the versatility to perform a number of roles to which I've skilled into.
