In the map line harvest, C and D are under these structures. The base of the pillars holding the structures up are slightly elevated; its absolutely no hassle for lights and mediums, but impossible to jump on for heavies. I experienced a battle in which I desperately needed ammo as a heavy, and the only nanohive was the base of a pillar. You can imagine how frustrating that would be.
I'm tired of not being able to jump over slightly elevated spots or railings because of the horribly small jump height. The horrible jump height not needed as a balancing factor, and all it does is lead to frustration. With the limited stamina and huge hitbox, its not like heavies could really abuse it for bunny-hopping anyway if the height was increased.
Also, railings. Why so much railings!?
The tiny jump height needs to be increased.

Highly trained mercenaries that have experienced death too many times to count lack the ability to do simple things that require 0 training such as lying prone, inability to carry knifes if equipped with 2 guns, and vaulting over waste high obstacles.
Further more, these immortal mercs also lack the stamina to run for miles with heavy gear as one would expect from highly trained mercenaries. The same can be said for their lack martial arts, rolling, etc.
But despite all these inadequacies, they have the ability to strafe back and forth at inhuman speeds making "dancing" in front of gunfire totally viable thing...
Logic cannot be applied to immortal mercs.
Blatant Dust_514 recruiting in the silliest of places. :P

I would love to see a "Clamber" mechanic that would possibly deplete your stamina similar to jumping, take some time to execute, and allow mobility by suit-class.
Boost your squad's points by 40%, learn to use the Squad Wheel!

CCP has mentioned wanting to do something like that for a long long time, and I think it will be like years before they do it. It would be faster to just increase the jump height.

Why is it annoyingly hard to jump and climb the climbable edges of a consolidation matrix?

Best defense against any heavy is a fence about 20-30cm railing and bumping it up to 1m no one can enter besides dropships

As a logi I can not jump any railings in the game. Before 1.7 I was able to do so. I had heard rumors that they would be introducing a grapple jump type system. I would very much like to see this happen or at least make the rails shorter. This far in the future and we can not even jump a rail.
No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2.

an idea i came up with was allowing players to hold the jump button to 'charge' a jump where the stamina decreases as you hold the jump button and you spring up when released. allow you to do it whiel sprinting and it would be a great way of gettign about leaping over certain walls (with enough stamina)

Spawned on an uplink on top of the roof on the orbital artillery, and there was literally no way for me to get off the roof. This is bad design.
