Okay. So for the people who don't know, EWAR stands for Electronic Warfare. Essentially, EWAR decreases the effectiveness of opponents without hurting their eHP. In Dust we already have one specialized EWAR equipment, The Scanner. With the Scanner, your opponent loses their position and in many cases weakens the plans they had set out. I believe the coming Cloak is also EWAR material since it affects your enemy's perception of the field physically and electronically as it helps dampens your suit.
I'm under the impression that there will be more than the Gallente Scanner and the Caldari Cloak, when it comes to EWAR. My question is, what will be the other racial EWAR equipment?
I know in EVE, Amarr have devices that slows down the tracking of enemy turrets and Minmatar have something called Target Painting. Furthermore, the cloak is a scout focused equipment so what other equipment will there be for the Caldari?
I can see the Caldari getting a jamming equipment. The Minmatar's Target Painting could be something neat in Dust. Since the Scanner is becoming a static view weapon, maybe the Minmatar will get something that allows them to raise the profile of their enemies, essentially making it easier to track them but not giving them the current constant perception that Scanners do now. Seem like the perfect thing for them since their people come from fierce hunters and trackers.

 I guess the Amarr could get scrambles signals, making profiles appear on scanners in the wrong position. Or maybe even decoy devices. Gotta say. I would love to see the Amarr get a decoy like device that makes it seem like they have a huge force in an area when they really only have a few people.

cloak isn't really EWAR, or isn't seen as EWAR, as it doesn't do anything to the enemy (EWAR is essentially debuffing in EVE/Dust). Anyways, Amarr has neuting (I think) and tracking disruptors, Winmatar has target painting and stasis webs, Gallente has sensor dampening, and Caldari has EM. So if active jammers comes ( basically raising the enemies precision in a area) then we would have Gallente's and Caldari's EWAR, leaving Amarr and Winmatar's EWAR left to be put in.
