I have to admit that after having gone through all of 1.7, I am not exactly too optimistic about 1.8 I can already see it being a continuation of fatsuit with RR 1.7, only now the fatsuits will be even harder to bring down with things like REs.

I already took a week off. Went back to Borderlands 2 this last week for a break.
On a separate note, there was another post I read in here last week that had to do with IWS being in the IRC with the developers saying that more information would be released around fanfest. To me, that is a disaster.

I'll take the cloaked scout spam over this constant fatsuit RR crap. I'm used to a twitch style gameplay from playing things like Metroid Prime and Star Wars games over the years. I can handle cloaked suits. These fricken tanked fatsuits can take forever to bring down providing you can even manage to get in before they start cutting you down with an RR from long range.
I have no problem with heavies using HMGs and I get cut down in buildings if I come around a corner and get gunned down immediately by one, or one shotted by a forge gunner. That's what they are supposed to do. Not this BS where I sit and see one and unload nearly an entire CR clip into them and still get killed by them with a RR from over 60-70m away.

They are easy to kill with a std combat rifle wth
Yes, the normal heavies are. I don't have a problem with those. Try killing the proto ones that run sentinel suits with them with well over 1500 eHP that then use rep logis from behind cover or triage hives.

Sad as it is to say, I think you're right. Repeated calls for adjustments for things from these forums constantly go unheeded.
