I run my 'Raven' BPO with exactly this. No damage mods - but it still works very, very well.

It was an experiment. I haven't touched the rail rifle since the match after that one.
I didn't mean to imply you aimed poorly, honestly - I meant that I landed more shots than you did - leading to me winning the fight. It is of course easier with a highly precise weapon like the RR though.
