If I terminate 20 of the enemies 50 clones then I deserve 40% of my teams ISK payouts. I'm not talking about kills but clone terminations, the same should apply in skirmish or domination if the win is by means of cloning the enemy team.

What if you were able to terminate 20 of those 50 clones because a logi was following you around with a rep tool and throwing down hives when you were low on ammo? What if that same logi was reviving squadmates that fell alongside you, and securing your position with links? What if they got no kills while doing so? Do they deserve 0% of the teams' ISK payout? That seems to be what you're suggesting.

I'm not sure that gives those who have played a support role (often at a greater cost, ISK-wise) a fair shake. Remember, you often killed that many close because of what the support logi or scanning scout helped you do and they shouldn't be penalized for not terminating as many clones as you have.
Perhaps it could be bent more towards what you suggest, but not entirely based on terminated clones. |

Everyone gets a flat ISK payout but then they get ISK based on what the enemy uses and that is split up based on WP but for ambush it should be based on clone terminations.

Every mode is about "defeating" the enemy, if you want to be technical. If you have no ammunition, you can only melee them. If you're dead, you can't shoot them. If there are no uplinks, your spawn could be in the middle of the other team.

So basically you want the Heavy/Assault's reason for survival to get a big paycut. No. You must not logi with good equipment because I'm pretty sure my proto costs a hefty sum more than your Proto assault suit.

Edit: I am a Logi. I use Proto Cal Logi with Proto needle, proto Allotek Nanohive (R) , Proto scanner my suit costs me 194K. My point is that in ambush the terminating the enemy's clones is the most important task, which could mean seeing an enemy on the ground and finishing their clone even if you didn't get the kill. Spamming uplinks and nanohives in ambush is usually pointless and is just a way to farm WP, the players who actually eliminate the enemies clones deserve the credit for the win in Ambush.
The only time you need uplinks in ambush is to get out of an area because the enemy has you pinned which is usually because A) you had uplinks placed in a bad area that gets you trapped B) you had to many supports bleeding clones and not enough killers so the enemy surrounds you.

I would agree that in ambush the objective is eliminating the enemy player and no one can deny the fact that the slayers play a major roll in a victory/loss. I like the idea the OP is proposing but I see why the logis are sore about it: "We helped, it's not our job to kill, we should get paid too!" etc...
How about this... Increase the proportion of ISK awarded to slayers who killed more enemies while increasing the proportion of ISK awarded to the logis who directly helped these slayers. What I mean is if someone lays down 10 uplinks in the mountains for random snipers and the snipers using the uplinks kill less players than the frontline assaults being repped by logis, award the uplink users/snipers less ISK than is currently awarded bases on their contribution/wp/whatever and give more to the frontline team/logis.
I agree that support roles are important but only if they're supporting people those who are turning the tides of the battle.
TL;DR: Polarize the ISK rewards based on direct contribution to success rather than WP. In ambush, for instance, those who kill/provide for the killers get much more than currently awarded and those who farm WP with equipment not being used by a slayer receive very little payouts. |

i already think the payout is too small anyways and i regularly get 20+ kills in amb but nothing but ****** 200K(approx)

Do this and the few that still play for the team would start playing for themselves. Ambush is really boring and lacks teamwork as is. Ask yourself, why would logis play ambush if you do this?

Edit: People who really get the WP are the repair guys. They usually heal whoever needs the heals most. IE Heavies, assaults, other logi's, and Sometimes scouts (rarely Vehicles). 35 WP for guardians plus 25 for triage is where a logi makes most of his points. Uplinks give little WP since most people hit circle then triangle when they die in AMB.
