speed tanking now involves jumping over the head of your enemy and head shotting them with your shotgun. Strafing is non existent in CQC, as sideways moving is slower than backwards moving, kin cats don't affect strafing, and moving backwards 3 steps with a shotgun puts you out of range

proposed fix for speed tanking
-make kin cats affect move speed by 50% of their bonus to sprint speed.
-Make scouts move 2% faster than they do now, and minmitar move 5% faster than they do now
-Reduce the strafe speed cap on scouts, light frames, assaults, and medium frames
This gives assaults another distinct advantage over, say a logi or light weapon heavy, ad helps scouts with speed tanking, particularly minmitar, who are supposed to be the speed tanking suit of Dust

Now offering Scrubese translating to all threads. Then u run around in scout suit with 300hp and see how "easy" it is when u get killed in 1 second by a RR
DONT FEED HIM!!!!!!!!!!!
EDIT: another reason why speed tanking is dead is because of how much PG shields take, making it inadvisable to fit kin cats on a suit that shield tanks
support shield extender changes here
