In my experience rail tanks just sit on a hill sniping vehicles near spawn points. In other words they are worse than snipers.

Also, dropships are not a game changing threat, and at the moment are easy pickings. Having AV get to places vehicles cannot is irrelevant... they can get indoors... but what use is your AV indoors. Vehicles are the best AV by far, faster, more durable, cheaper, more efficient, etc.
I eagerly await the next patch to see what CCP are going to do about this problematic game mechanic. |
