...but I think Dust is a great, albeit slightly flawed, game! I'm pretty sure I've never played a game that is fun alone when I'm hungover, and with all kinds of complete strangers when I'm drunk, and all for free! The graphics are impressive, the lag is annoying. The mechanics are challenging, but solid IMHOP, and the NPE sucks. It's not perfect, but do you really expect something free to be flawless? All of the people on here who ***** about how much they've spent are laughable to those of us who realize we haven't HAD to spend a penny of our own money. I buy a pack or two every few months because I think CCP deserves a return on the obvious years of work they have and continue to put into this game, but nobody's telling me I have to pay to play. In fact, one of my alts is solely an experiment to see how far I can go without spending a single dollar or ISK. Anyways - I just wanted to say thanks, CCP, for being part of the free-to-play movement, for producing the first big online game I've ever really liked, and for putting up with the bitching, whining, and nonsensical rantings of tryhards and bittervets who, somehow, think that Dust and New Eden in general are something they are entitled to, rather than an awesome esperiment they are lucky enough to participate in.
