Squad orders are hard enough to assign properly. We shouldn't have to worry about accidentally highlighting pieces of equipment when trying to circle up a squadmate.
Yet somehow equipment can be targeted the same as any other player, despite the fact that you can't really assign an order to them once they are targeted (at least as far as I know, since I only use the defend order and not the attack/capture orders).
Can this "feature" please be removed? It's just another distraction in the already clumsy mechanic of giving squad orders. |

This is actually a crucially important piece of being a squad-leader, being able to make the necessary tactical decisions.
Being able to give orders to 'Attack that CRU' or Capture that CRU or Defend the Supply Depot.
Those orders can tip the tide of battle substantially. |

Right, I'm just talking about being able to target pieces of equipment, which you can't put the order on anyway. Objectives, installations, vehicles, and players should be the only valid targets (aside from the rally order which can be placed anywhere). |

I don't think you can actually put the order on them though. It says invalid target if you try. |
