When I started this game about a year ago I had high hopes it would turn out to be a fun shooter, but that has not transpired. I looks and find that the game is way too technical to be fun and find that now its free to play, this is of course after I PAID 50$ for it and got nothing in return but some Equipment that has no place on the battle field but to rack up kills for the other side. I have gripes and complaints~ First this game is NOT USER FRIENDLY, I have a BA and a Masters and find myself lost to a freaking game that can't even tell me why the hell I can't buy an items because I don't have a some sort of currency but all along won't tell me for instance HOW to get said currency.
Who thought it was a good idea to let people in with tanks and rack up 20-40 kills a match? I thought we were to have some bug matches where we went out and cleaned up worlds so we could slowly creep our ways up to fighting each other over resources we secured. I thought the other game was going to be part of this one and not just some LIMITED star maps from the other one.
I LOVE (sarcasm) being stuck in a one room prison, was there not going to be interaction in this forum with other players? And FUN??? wheres the FUN? whats with all the Iron sights on the guns?? No zoom on a rifles... so your telling me were in space and the future and NO ZOOM on my starting rifles..k . No practice rooms to steady my guns, nor a way to change guns controls until i get into game... Let me stand here and try to configure my gun as bullets whip around my head, Myyyyy what a wonderful day! There are spiral galaxies out there with more than a trillion stars, and giant elliptical galaxies with 100 trillion stars, but this one has 50 stars as far as I can see ....wheeeee~
Beta was so bad I stopped in hopes they would work out the problems but nope... They made new ones. Why do I care where the gun I'm using grew up and first made at and why is this first thing I see when I click on a gun. An entire technical manual of a weapon, I don't CARE.. in an order from best gun to worst whats its number?? if one being best and ten being worst JUST GIVE ME A NUMBER... simple easy to understand with flavor text way on tab 4. Also who made the sky scape... All blue sky's it seems no sky with space or a world crumbling falling into the current world we're on atmosphere.. nope Blue sky. no rain... no wind... a few buttes and rolling gentle hills, ahh yes what every space game needs bland blue sky simple terrain. I was expecting to fight on moons with fun gravity or even black skies with events in space.. a deep game with auction houses where we could share in the interaction with Eve; fight in space with futuristic weapons (with scopes) and see new worlds where we would be the vanguards in an ever increasing worlds. Nope blue skies, tanks, no scopes, long stories about guns and no idea if its good and about as much interaction with Eve as someone would with their ex wives.
Heres an idea why not send back my money and you can have your game back, better yet keep the money and hire people with vision beyond the empty 50-75 gentle worlds of unremarkable game play.
By the way I won't be checking back with your, all be it fun and no doubt colorful, responses as I just don't care to argue yet another boring shooter that had real chance to be something fun, unique, and different. |
