So is it just me, or is using anything other than a hardener and damage mod (hardener and reps for a maddie) just plain stupid.
Plates and extenders have been kicked to the curb, so I wonder, what could you do with them. My first and initial thought is double the HP you get from them. That's the only conceivable way I could imagine them being equal to a rep or hardener.
To me this is lame and uncreative, any suggestions eh?

Hah, I made a post about extenders and plates, hoping to start a discussion of idea's about what can be done with them.
Instead, it seems people choose to talk tanks in general. Or QQ this and QQ that.
Lot of tank hate floatin around.

That would be awesome. I really fing hate the "SP SINK" that it is now. And even by going further into them, it hardly provides any sort of divide between MLT and PRO. Yes there is some sort of a divide, cause I be blownin up MLT all day long. But then there are those times when they 3 shot me with no hardeners, and I think, wow, what a ******* douche. I paid to have this power, while you did not.
It's like they did terracide, but only went halfway thru with it. Missing the skills that make true tankers unique and different.

Yes, and they asked for small changes that would have helped balance the way they were. I can point you to numerous threads from myself and other back then.
Then CCP tells us they are completely revamping tanks from the ground up.

And they will still be the ones that go 30 - 0. In all honesty, I kinda hope it does come to that. I've had plenty of experience with my trusty shitlogi from before 1.7.
I call it a GodLogi now.

As I have met him in battle in his tank, and he actually didn't do half bad.
I hope he gets the point though that no true tanker asked for THIS. We asked for small things, small changes. Instead we got this. You think I ENJOY what has become of tanks. I loved tanks before, because being effective with them took time, money and PRACTICE.
It's a joke now, and any reasonable tanker will agree.
That hate should be directed CCP's way, as they are ultimately responsible for what happens. Understand that 99% of the time, they will ignore your feedback (maybe taking a piece here or there). This is clear by what they did with tanks. They outright ignored any and all feedback tankers gave them, and did their own thing.
Expect many more months of this!
