Tanks were already changed. Infantry cried for it, and they're not happy with the changes.
The only thing they'll be happy with is a full-scale removal of vehicles as a whole.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

Why should tanks as a whole get nerfed, when everybody's complaining about MLT tanks?

Because I wanted to worry about ammo, wanted modules removed, wanted turret variants removed, wanted fewer slots...
The only thing I was salivating over was not having to fit small turrets onto my tank. That was it.
Remember:
When infantry complained about contact grenades, they were nerfed into the ground. When tankers complained about AV grenades, infantry said "LOL HTFU" and that was that.
