I'm not here to point any fingers or do a "I told you so", I'm merely here to state that good dedicated players are leaving this game due to having theitr FPS experience coming down to spending most of the games running from or indeed trying to fight a mass of tanks, almost every game. I don't claim to have a sollution, I'm merely stating that the game is not in a god Place ATM.
Non-serious response: awww that guy... he would send me SO MUCH hate mail in MAG to the point where I had to block him.
The day after I blocked him I found him in Darien, he was bush-wookying, I got him 5 times that match
and laughed at how hard he was probably raging and how pissed he would have been that he couldn't send
me any messages ;)
Serious response: He has a point though, every time I think about logging on I realise what happened last time, and the time before that, and the time before that...tank spam every game so he has a very good point and it's disappointing to see players leave. I guess infantry only modes go against CCP's vision which is to have vehicles and infantry
playing together.
however when something is broken there are three options
the good: admit something is broken and take it out of the game until it's fixed
the bad: admit something is broken and leave it in the game whilst you work on a fix
the ugly: do nothing. leave it in the game and don't fix it.
A "thing" similar to something which lets you allocate your "points" (which shall not be named) would
help to revitalise the game and you know what, I bet people will set aside SP to spec into AV.
A "thing" would probably balance out AV vs Tanks, then all they need to do is make MLT tanks more expensive.
However if the player market is released at the same time the price of the MLT tanks wouldn't matter.
