Run prototype stuff every match.
Why? Screw the enemy team, that's why.
Make it easier on the enemy team I'm being paid to try and win against? Where is the logic?
Oh, but new players are quitting because people like KingBabar are running prototype stuff and making their games miserable.
Yeah, and? If CCP didn't want this to happen, then it wouldn't happen.
See where I'm going with this? It's not our job to make games easier for people on the enemy team.
What KingBabar is asking himself is: If they're running cheap suits all the time, surely they've got to have loads of ISK. What can they be spending it on?
Well, to answer this question, let us take a look at another argument: Running prototype suits is not necessary all the time.
No, no it's not, but what else are you going to do with your vast piles of ISK?
Running lesser gear makes you better when you run prototype stuff: An argument which holds some weight.
If you can down better suits whilst wearing standard, then obviously you're doing something better than the other guy.
Blah blah blah, arguments for and against.
I'm not here to start an argument, I admit my thoughts may have wandered away from what I was originally trying to say:
People can run whatever they like, and you can't do anything about it, because this is intended game mechanics.
If you can do it, and keep doing it for months, and CCP knows you can do it because they let you do it, then behaviour like this must empower the player to make them feel like they have a choice to do whatever they like.
That must be a sandbox element that CCP wants.
Locking districts? Glitches? Unintended, as stated by CCP themselves. Don't bring them up. Doing them is not excusable because CCP say they are tryng to fix it. They say it is something they want to fix, but we are going to have to deal with them in the meantime however we can.
If CCP say protostomping is something they want to change somehow, then fine. If they said it was unacceptable, then they would do something.
What am I writing this for, I don't know. Agh, I don't even know why, or how I even came out with this.
Anyway: It's the player's choice, and you've got no right in dictating this choice unless you are said individual or CCP.
It's out of your hands. Accept that.
That's enough from me, I need a cold drink and need to get back to reading.
And back to our usual weather forecast: Cloudy, raining, with a chance of bullets and death and whatnot.
Goodbye.
