What I don't understand is how someone in AE would NEED the SP so badly that they would boost.
I only have 26 or 27 mill, and I wouldn't even be worried about trying hard to scrape out 750k of SP.
I already got more than 250 heavy weapon kills today. I'm getting this done with time to spare.

Gives you ALOT more than just warpoints Sir.
Steelmine boundless are not needed by Burkhart, as he has proto weapons already, and he should have more than enough ISk to keep him stocked in proto suits and gear until the end of this beta.
He probably isn't getting the ISK bonus unless the target is rocking a heavy suit, but even then, for only 10 million ISK, is it really worth it?
I never understood boosting, but this is just nonsensical.

Appia Vibbia needs to be deleted. Mark Burkhart needs to be deleted.
Ancient exiles needs to be investigated.
Some should not be above the law.
thats a bit harsh
You can argue that it is the only deterrent.
EULA violations are serious business.
Resets for boosting are in my mind justified. People should understand that it is a no go zone, and the price for crossing the line is severe. Tolerating some opens up all sorts of grey areas that are very hard to navigate. Having a concrete zero tolerance policy for boosting is generally best.

Only serious business if you actually read the EULA. In it's entirely. With extreme focus on every point so you understand all the nuances. Show of hands?
Ignorance of the agreement to which we all agreed when we started playing is no excuse and you know it.
Having a plant on the other team and farming kills is manipulating the scoring system, which more than likely is specifically listed, and any seasoned gamer is fully aware of these types of restrictions.
That said, I am not aware of any evidence, and I am not trying to pass any sort of judgment. I have already said I could see very little reason for the people named to be involved with such activities.
However, if people are trying to stack empty servers to farm kills off of friends in order to finish an optional challenge that has been offered to the community as an event no doubt designed to encourage more people to actually play the game, all in an attempt to gain an advantage(which in this case is a not insignificant amount of SP, along with some items, and potentially some ISK), that type of behaviour should be punished very severely.
There are a lot of ways in which players in New Eden are allowed to abuse each other, and that should be encouraged to some degree, but players should be very harshly dealt with who seek to abuse events, especially when they are trying to gain an artificial advantage.
