It wouldn't, due to how our turrets work. You'll be killed before the tank does. Only reason why it works IRK and in BF3 is because tank destroyers have ****** tank. (fun fact: tank destroyers used to have really tough armor in the WWII days, and were huge as ****)

in the next 2 years, most likely it'll be out with tech 2 versions of it. Medium turrets will come along side the MAV, and the MAV from concept pictures has a medium turret, and a small on top.

That is exactly what I don't want to see done. Consider that from the MAV's designs we have thus far seen the appear to be armoured personnel carriers. Perhaps you could consider them to the logistic vehicles, either supporting infantry through reps, scans, spawners, or using Medium Turrets to destroy infantry. Problem is, there are no medium turrets and until there are we will be stuck with small and large. It would be easier to integrate these sort of vehicles into the game than something that uses a new type of turret. And there is no real need currently for armored personnel carriers. Dropships are pretty much filling that role as it is. Which is concerning. I mean the Large Blaster should really be a medium turret..... I feel that if, and I suggest this often to other players and Devs. Vehicle balance can only exist where HAV have a defined role. That role should be anti vehicle, so the MAV can have anti infantry as its role. Than would then mean the MAV could effectively function as a ground based troop mover, spawner vehicle, scanner vehicle for urban combat, and anti infantry bunker.
Blaster is fine as a large turret, just is imbalanced one. needs more alpha, less DPS, and less tracking. medium blaster could have a fast fire rate, and less damage than the large ones (50-80 damage), with a slight spray (not much, just a little).
