That was all probably done on and shown from internal dev kits which then couldn't pass Sony's QA cause it would be too hard on consumer consoles.
LOL, dude, this was Replication build - following Crater Lake. This was August - September 2012ish. I started playing closed beta in June 2012, this isn't some internal dev kit. THIS WAS ON THE PS3 ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO.

The PS3 is holding this game back!
Meh. I'm not a fan of 60 FPS. If there's an option to cap the frame-rate to 30 FPS, sure. Just saying, Titanfall is great and all but good lord is there a lot going on. Looks jerky and just generally nauseating.

Graphically, Beyond: Two Souls, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid: 3.... All games with gorgeous detail.
Faster-paced gameplay with graphical elements: Vanquish, Resident Evil 5/6 (even though I hate the direction they took), Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Then you have games that lack in the graphical department but excel in other areas like Metal Gear: Rising, Skyrim and Prototype.
Point is, a game can go in all different directions and still be good. Whether it's superior graphics with not a lot of stuff going on on screen or a game that focuses more on huge amounts of items/animations/sounds, etc. It's entirely possible for a game of Dust 514's stature to excel in the visual department with enough optimization but as we've already seen they've had to make a -lot- of cut-backs on the graphics department just to get the game running at a half decent speed (albeit, I blame Unreal for that).
To name a few effects that saw cut-backs: RDVs, repair tools, mass driver effects, scrambler pistol tracers.
But then we have the real problem (in my eyes) in that, since I started in June 2012, the game has been steadily -losing- content. Marauder/Black Ops/Enforcer HAVs, Logistics Dropships, Logistics/Scout LAVs, various effects, corp battles, 3D starmap, real-time mini-map, HUD bob, explosive deafening, all sorts of stuff has been removed from the game and has yet to return. Alas, we have people saying "Remove the Flaylock pistol! It's useless!" and "Remove PC until it's fixed!" and I can't help but wonder how long this removal frenzy is going to go on before we realize that we have nothing left to play.

Yeah, WTF is up with this?
/me shrugs
There's a few things I can understand. Graphical/sound removals come at the price of introducing new stuff into the game because both are very memory intensive (sound especially). Content on the other hand... I have no idea. I've seen a few backdrops and map designs that looked pretty fleshed out and ready to go that either never made it in game or simply faded away (Caldari Prime titan backdrop, for instance, will probably never be seen again).
I'm sure by now CCP has realized that they need to focus more on re-usable assets for the sake of budget (no sense in having someone develop something that'll only be used once) but looking at Dust's history as a reminder certainly can't hurt. This is primarily why whenever someone says "Remove 'x'! It's broken!" I get a little riled up. I've seen far too many things get removed from this game that were just generally ****ing awesome to sit here and just let the 'community' advocate more of it.

For the record, the reason the game looked so fluid and high in the FPS department is because most of those videos are internal builds. I have no idea why but anytime it's an internal build it runs smoother - just how it works. If you watch the Dust tournament from Fanfest 2013, **** ran smooth and it was gorgeous (Uprising, btw). Then, Uprising hit the public and it all went downhill; no-one (not even CCP) knew what the **** happened.
It wasn't that smooth back then either, it was actually a lot worse if memory serves. There was a HUGE change when Chromosome came into play and the FPS got substantially faster but that's about where we're at right now.
