I think we already talked about this before in General Discussion, however it would be nice to see how it goes with a NK Fitting Optimization skill book. But first we should see how it all goes in the 1.8 update since scouts will be plenty of love in the CPU/PG and slot department. If it all works out, we might not need an optimization skill. But if after all that new testing the veterans still feel it's needed, then CCP should consider it.

All Heavy, Light, and Sidearm weapons should have a fitting optimization it just makes sense. Even the Flaylock has a fitting optimization skill, and it has very low fitting requirements.

surely nova knife should remove the ability of having to charge them, they should be automatically fully charged when they are drawn as they are knifes and should do more damage or have a kind of leap effect when you are really close to the enemy as it takes like 3 chraged hits to take down a medium dropsuit and 4 if not more to kill a heavy.

Actually, you can kill ANY medium with one charged attack if both Knives hit and you're using the advanced one with a damage mod. If you use proto Knives and proto mods, you can kill any heavy with 2 attacks. 1 charged, one not charged. |

Let's make this happen, CCP - I'm getting NK proficiency to 5 and could totally use the extra 1PG if we had a NK Fitting Optimization skill.
Besides, the CR tops out at 8 PG at proto and they have Fitting Optimization, so why not knives??? |
