Of course, I used the CR, because I suck terribly with that gun, yet want to keep with the Minmatar theme... As of right now, there is zero reason to use those death trap, SP sink, monstrosity of a Dropsuit. They are complete garbage. No health, CPU/PG, or Stamina... they are just a little quicker, so you can try to run away faster before you get 4-shotted by everything. They are worse than Scout Dropsuits. The millions of SP you need to sink into them to make them competitive is a total waste of time. I don't see how the rumored 1.8 updates are going to help these dropsuits. They have no advantage what-so-ever. Its no wonder that I never see these suits in PCs, except when the game very highest elite players use them. There is gear that takes skill to use and is more difficult, then their is flat out garbage. CCP, throw these poor Minmatar people a bone... The Official alt of 8213 Do you pub, brah?

I use a reactive plate and a shield reg in the lows and just shields in the high. That with a ACR usually gets me in the positive... The thing is that it you HAVE to use cover and you have to flank otherwise SCR and ARs will tear you a new one.

I must be among the (almost) very highest elite players, because I've been using it since it came out. The logi is ok..... 1.8 will help because we will get 2 handfuls of bullets instead of 1 and I am pretty sure they are going to upgrade the stock shield recharger and regulator on the suit. Oh and they are increasing TTK which means speed is half a factor... if only they threw out AA :(

It wasn't that bad then; but now it really struggles quite a bit. Ever weapon aside from MD & Flaylocks rip through shield no matter their efficiency % ; so you get ripped apart quite easily (like 102 burst of basic CR clears almost all of your shields). That and with so many armor tankers, armor is simply harder to melt through no matter, so you get kinda butt f-cked. For the slight movement speed increase and include 1 armor rep it isn't really worth it anymore. Will 1.8 change things; it depends on your role. Unless swarms are fixed massively, I don't see Mini assault as good of a assault suit compared to the other 3. Even with a MD equipped, I feel you'd be filling more of a support role w/ area denial. I'm incredibly bitter about losing that sexy hack speed bonus in 1.8 and trading it for a bonus to the only boring part of Dust, which is the main reason I absolutely won't stop screaming for a respec when 1.8 drops.

Happy they where finally gonna be a DPS class... And now everyone is going scout or heavy..... Assault suit class is dead competitively if they keep the changes they purposed.. There really is no point in running the suit except for Utility...?????!?!?!? And how does that make sense on a Assault... So the 1000+ Health point scout Suits with 2 equipment slots and cloaking potential will be the new Assault class in the game... Assault is dead in 1.8.... Will be sad to put my Assault suit in the spare room closet.. But it no longer works competitively.

I do a bang up job of it too =) Minmatar logi suit are the best all around suit in the game... it's really player dependent on it's results.. 3 high slots 3 low slots 3 equipment... Doesnt get more all around then that.... Proto 4 High, 4 Low, 4 Equipment. With Electronics and Engineering to 5 you can fit nearly a full proto loadout on an advanced suit.

I wished they had the logi layout. 2 lows are kind of limiting even though the matari are suppose to be versatile They need a faster regen. The caldari has 25 while the minmatar has 18. Since next build the shield recharge bonus will be gone, the matari will be a bit more crap I can only please one person per day. Today is not ur day, tomorrow doesn't look too bright either.
