So... I tried them out. Skilled into A-I for Assault & Logi...
Of course, I used the CR, because I suck terribly with that gun, yet want to keep with the Minmatar theme...
As of right now, there is zero reason to use those death trap, SP sink, monstrosity of a Dropsuit. They are complete garbage. No health, CPU/PG, or Stamina... they are just a little quicker, so you can try to run away faster before you get 4-shotted by everything. They are worse than Scout Dropsuits.
The millions of SP you need to sink into them to make them competitive is a total waste of time.
I don't see how the rumored 1.8 updates are going to help these dropsuits. They have no advantage what-so-ever.
Its no wonder that I never see these suits in PCs, except when the game very highest elite players use them. There is gear that takes skill to use and is more difficult, then their is flat out garbage.
CCP, throw these poor Minmatar people a bone...

How does strafing help you when it only takes 4-5 bullets sprayed into you to kill you?

How much SP did it take to get to that? Millions. When I can turn around around use the same millions of SP to rock 1000HP on my Advanced suits

My Amarr has 891...
And those suits have far better benefits to using them than Mins.
