This is less of a request and more of an inquiry.
Could they bring back the input data exactly how it was for both DS3 and KB/M? Or is it forever lost? If they could I think it would help a lot of the KB/M players get back to playing back again.
I preferred the aiming in chromosome and I'd love it to make a comeback. But whether it's even possible I don't know.
If it WAS possible, how many people would go for it?
If someone can shed some light please do. I'm not asking for the uprising aiming to be taken off. I'm sure some people prefer this aiming to chromosome and I wouldn't want to take that away from them.

Totally agree. Do you think they could do it? I'm not exactly tech savvy in this case. |

Yeah I'm wondering about things like that.
I'm sure they could implement an equivalent to the chromosome aiming in uprising.
Hopefully we get word from someone In the know, or even a comment from CCP themselves. |

I feel the same about the DS3. The aiming doesn't feel as smooth as in chromosome. I honestly don't remember having any problems with it. |

Nah. If enough of us actually speak out then CCP will help us out.
It's clear that going back to old (better) aiming we might get some players back, and those KB/M players will get their preferred method of gaming back.

Why the silence? I'd like to know if CCP at least plans on revisiting these borked kbm inputs.
Also, where's all the kbm4pcn00b trolls at?
Yeah... I expected some resistance to this much sooner...
Seems everyone is on the same page so far which I'm happy about. |

I know lol.
This is the last time I'm putting my faith in them. If 1.8 is rubbish then I'm out.
If its good I'm pushing for chrome aiming to come back. |

Hopefully they turn off this "oneframethreadlag" setting.
Is that the same with the DS3?
I can't fully explain the difference between uprising aiming and chromosome, but chromosome felt much better and looks much more fluid on video. |

Aiming on a DS3 was awful in chromosome, so twitchy and imprecise.
Ugh you ruined the streak of support!
Lol jk.
I don't know. I remember distinctly feeling that uprising aiming wasn't as 'good' as chromosome. You hardly seen any complaints about aiming in chrome. Then uprising hits and there is QQ everywhere.
But it doesn't even matter because I'm not asking for uprising to be changed. I'm just asking for old inputs to be added as a personal preference. |

Red Eye Laser wrote:I really want the old kb\m back. The game totally changed for me with uprising. They need to either scrap it completely or revert it back to how it was in chromosome. As it is, it's a big FU to anyone who used to enjoy using kb\m in this game.
But alas I just don't think there will be enough support for this from the current community of players. Those who it effected the most have moved on, an everyone else couldn't give a toss if a very small percentage of the playerbase isn't happy with the current control scheme.
I haven't given up hope but.... It's not like CCP haven't bent me over before.
It was better for DS3 too.
I'm sure a lot of the KB/M users will come back if this can be done

You think this is the core reason for aiming being sucky? |
