All the rifles out there can do anything in the game they are multi dimentional, they can go to mid to close combat (No AV sadly), the rail rifle has a choke spread so it is exceptionally good at close range, i think it's necessary to either lower the proficiency bonus to 1.5% per level or 2%, all the other weapons are one dimentional for example the sniper rifle is great at long range and outdoor maps but terrible at close range. The shotgun explains itself since most shooter game has a weapon named the shotgun.

Yesterday, my squadmate died in combat by a kalakiota rail, he was using a combat rifle and they were 5 meters apart, you happy now?

Problem is, they figured out how to balance out the AR but not the rest of the service rifles.
CR is the new AR and only gets better each tier.
RR works too well at all ranges instead of at only long range.
ScR is balanced...except on a Amarr assault, it is basically the old TAR. Hardcore ScR users claim it is meant to always win in 1v1...but isn't every rifle meant to do that?
Someone who speaks my language. Can definitely communicate and give explainations... thats acceptable in my book.

NEVER Anecdotally I can say many times, but that means little to you. I remember when I got blown away by a forge gun at 7m. Forge guns are OP in close quarters. Nerf forge guns.
