They need to get the stuff promised to us, like player markets, better link to EVE, PvE, and they for sure need to quit nerfing/buffing guns. Come up with a DPS system with ranges that work, and quit jacking with the guns. Every nerf or buff makes certain guns FoTM or obsolete. SoonTM is BS,and I am tired of reading about empty promises. They have another Fan Fest, and have not delivered anything worth keeping the player base interested. It is clear that the community as a whole wants battles in space on ships, wants MCC battles, wants drone battles (PvE) at the very least, we also want more options for new players, tier based battles, The list goes on and on... Pick a subject and deliver.
I know this is my opinion for the most part, but eventually if the reason people are here and waiting for, will not be delivered, then the playerbase will lose interest, minus the hardcore FPS types. I got into the game early on different characters with the notion that things were going to happen and the game would be more in depth and have FPS as the main base for action through PvP and PvE. I also was under the impression that there would be more game modes, and fresh maps. I sure hope 1.8 and 1.9 deliver, because there is not much going on that a few new suits can do to change what is already going on. |

It is sad it has to be this way, because the promises made would hold great merit, this game would SERIOUSLY rock. I will be keeping up with this years Fan Fest, and will compare it to last years

It was my understanding that March is the month of the 1.8 update.

This way they can deal with any odd bugs, the game breaking kind, before fanfest. Then they will roll into fanfest talking about all the work they've done over the last year, like racial parity and new weapons...even though we would know the truth. If they don't roll it out before then I wouldn't expect much from fanfest besides for a white flag of defeat.
A dev has been quoted for 1.8 sometime in march... not sure when, but CCP Saberwing said it. You are right about them patting their backs on racial parity and weapons for Fan Fest, guess ill believe it when I see it. |
