^ been here since the last/first time my merc had her silly walk - before tac net changes did that tiny bit to make my scout slightly more viable - stopped playing about 2months before 1.7 (work stuff+xcom seemed a better way to spend time), but still tried to maintain log in bonuses, didn't even know about the patch until I was prompted to free a few gb from my HD.
I generally agree with the broad argument for respec - though I think comparing it to the vehicle argument is a false comparison and doesn't help the debate.
I nearly went min-logi in the beginning since frankly I could see a way of making a better scout than a scout - but I had faith CCP would make scout viable. So I can understand the frustrations of hacker logis - and heavies.
However - at 14mil - I only have about 1-2mil in light weapon operations and AR I care to remove after discovering the awesomeness of ScPs. And I'm frankly I'm concerned about people respeccing into 'FoTM' scouts and then other people thinking I am one of them...
You probably don't know me. But next time you get gunned down or exploded by a Valor scout...check the name.

If you think FotM is a reason for not giving respec, have you been playing Dust? Other than OP suits (callogi), which wasn't hard to deal with (flux, tada). Every other so called 'flavor' has been weapons. Those things that take at most two weeks to proto. Or a couple of matches for a standard RR/CR. Respecs don't make or break FotM, game balance does. |

I don't know about for good, but I would definitely let passive collect for 3-6 months. I've got a few other games I've been meaning to play, and as soon as ESO comes out I will simply move over there.

I for one will be gone for a long time if we don't get a respec. I never wanted Amarr fatsuit but had no other choice except "don't play the game at all", so finally getting racial heavies years after they were promised and not getting a respec so that I could immediately use the suit I've been waiting for would be enough of a slap in the face to quit for a very long time. |

you know what I mean. Refund,refill, re allocate comments are unnecessary. We all get the point of this simple experiment.
Honestly, with GTAV in one hand, with Hawken (on steam roght now) in second one and with Destiny on horizont (yup dear CCP in REAL HORIZONT) i really thinking about it. Normal neurotypical logic (and aspi logic too - Im AS) leading here just to one thingy. If there is something new (major patch, implements or another changes to mechanix ingame), there should be possibility for respec. Thats their decisions through ours, we should have that chance. End of story.

I would probably just beg my mother to buy me a copy of Armored Core Verdict Day, and disappear into that for 3-4 years.
