Tank news. Like what they might possibly be doing to them.
Surely they won't leave tanks as they are with a 1.8 release!

Don't worry, they won't leave them as they are.
I suspect they'll find that a couple actually died to AV this one match and so they will receive further buffing. Also, they were still apparently too expensive, so a price reduction is also in order.

We should, they are fun right now. The problem with HAVs is that no one will use their brain to fight one or set areas that they can't go. A decent squad with ok gear can stop all HAVs or destroy them. Mercs can stay in cover more and actually work as a team to defeat them. It isn't that difficult if more than one or two people actually try.

Yeah i would agree with that sentiment if a Tank required a Driver, an Operator and Gunner to be operated fully, not these fully operational tanks with Nascar engines that require 1 person to operate properly, adding extra guns to the tank as secondary turrest even takes away from the tanks power atm and it shouldnt.
If we need 3 people to counter one, there needs to be 3 people inside the tank coordinating aswell, not 3 solo tanks shooting anything that moves.

CCP needs to fix AV and tone done down rails a bit. Tanks are fun atm and should remain the same.

Tanks have absolutely resolved Core grenade spam because we all have to pack AV grenades.

If the current OPness was 3 people inside 1 tank to cover all the angles, it would be, right now it isnt, because 3 Solo tanks > 1 3 man Tank anytime anyday, nice try though.

I'm hoping they at the very least add in WP for vehicle damage and increase prices across the board. In an effort to curb spam.
400K milita fits
600-700k Pro fits. Everything else in between.
So basically a tank should cost you 400k to 700K a pop. That allows for 1 lose every 2 games to stay isk positive. Say bye bye to tank spam in the process.
